Adam's aunt decided to give him this shoot as graduation gift. The location? Their own backyard, which I loved - it made the shoot much more intimate and special. Everybody was pretty emotional since Adam was leaving for university soon.

So let me share my favorites with you - hope that parents seeing this will rethink about stop taking photos with their kids just because they're not little and "cute" anymore. ;)

This was a very lovely intimate wedding - they exchanged vows in front of their family and two of their closest friends at the beautiful Old Mill Inn.

A couple of weeks before the wedding we were a bit worried about the weather. Forecast wasn't that great for their big day so they decided to book Knox College, which is a gorgeous location for indoor photos. We were really lucky - by the time we actually needed to be outdoors, the rain had stopped so we were able to get some amazing photos outdoors as well.

They got married this past June at the beautiful Toronto Botanical Gardens, followed by the traditional 10-course chinese dinner reception (yummy!).

I always find amazing how it doesn't matter how many times I go to these places, I never get the same results. That's the magic of us human beings - we're all so unique!

Had an amazing time shooting Ashley and Rodrigo a few weeks ago. Let me share a few of my favorites with you. :)

Her kids are two of the cutest boys I've seen; Liam has lots, lots of energy and Cole was just really sweet! It's so nice to see them having so much fun with each other and I'm always amazed at how siblings care for each other at such a young age, no matter how different their personalities are. Incredible. Can't wait till my daughter becomes an older sister!

I tend to focus on couples on my blog for obvious reasons, but I promised myself I'd post more family shoots this year. I will also try to post some from last year, I just need to have time to go through my disks.

Last month I had the pleasure to work with these three little guys and their parents at the beautiful Richmond Green. Here are some of my favorites!

I'm still drowning in wedding and family photos to edit, but I just had to stop everything I was doing to post this. Love these photos, had to share it now otherwise I'm sure I'd forget.

I'm pretty sure these two don't even know how photogenic they are and how great their chemistry is in front of the camera. Besides that, they are really fun to be around. Can't wait for their wedding next month!

I'll be honest: before this shoot, I hated High Park. I hate how crowded and huge that park is. Always thought it was an overrated park and whenever I could, I convinced families/couples to go to Edward Gardens or somewhere smaller. I was just excited with Melanie+Jeff's suggestion because initially we were thinking about having the shoot during the blooming of the cherry trees (which we missed it, unfortunately). Anyways... going there on a weekday is a completely different story. It is indeed a beautiful park to go to.

They decided to have the photo session at the place where they actually got engaged - I love when couples choose locations close to their heart instead of following trends they see around the web.

It's been 3 years since I didn't have a morning Engagement Session. I usually recommend having e-sessions and family shoots closer to sunset to get the most flattering light, but whenever we can't do that, early morning is the second best thing! So thanks, Steph and Joe for agreeing on waking up that early!

I had just worked on a wedding the day before and had to set up 3 alarm clocks to make sure I'd be up. lol. Funny I didn't feel tired at all - it was actually really nice driving all the way to Kawartha Lakes, no traffic, just me and the radio. Also, Steph and Joe were a really sweet and fun couple so that makes things easier. I can tell Joe is not a great fan of taking pictures, but we got so many great ones I have to share with you!

Congrats on your engagement Steph and Joe, can't wait for you big day. :)

p.s.: I must say tiredness hit me like a truck as soon as I got home.

This was my second time shooting an Engagement Session over there this year, which is kind of surprising because even though I go there plenty of times for Family shoots, I've never had couples asking for that park in particular. Maybe urban E-Shoots are finally old news?

Had an amazing time with Fiona and Bendy - these two are really sweet! Congrats guys, really looking forward for your big day this September. :)
