This wedding was absolutely beautiful! I was a bit worried the whole week before because forecast was for a lot of rain – however, for our luck, all the rain decided to fall the night before. :)

I loved pretty much everything from this wedding – Steph’s super modern dress (it had pockets!!), her bridesmaids’ cocktail dresses, her GORGEOUS GORGEOUS bouquet (if only I could go back in time and have THAT bouquet on my wedding day), Joe’s super excited groomsmen, a lovely and tearful ceremony (under a sky that couldn’t decide between cloudy and sunny), amazing sunshine during the portraits and a super fun reception.

The drive to Blue Mountain was totally worth it – congrats, Steph and Joe! Wishing you love and happiness, always. ♥

I wish I had time to post all the weddings and family shoots I’ve been shooting, but it’s been incredibly hard to keep this blog updated. It’s already December and it feels like Summer to me. I have never had a Winter this busy! That being said, I’m not complaining! :)

I had to stop my editing for a bit to post photos from this Maternity photo shoot I had done with this gorgeous and sweet mom-to-be!

Jackie and Mike, congrats on your baby! You two are going to make amazing parents!

How I love working close to home! Not only because I don’t have to be stuck in traffic, but also because I just love Whitby. This place is so beautiful I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of having shoots here.

This is Laura’s and Ray’s engagement session. Besides the fact these two are super photogenic, they have an amazing chemistry that definitely shows in pictures. So it’s pretty obvious that I just can’t wait for their wedding day next Summer!

On top of having lots of September+October wedding photos to edit, these past few days have been super busy with all these families having Fall shoots (can’t blame them, Fall looks good), so I’ll go back to editing now. I just had to stop for a bit to share this gorgeous e-shoot. :)

Back in the Summer of 2011 I shot Wenwen’s and Shawn’s wedding anniversary photos. Then, in the Fall of that same year, Wenwen hired me again to have a shoot with her mom that was coming all the way from China.

I remember just loving working with Wenwen and her family, so I was super excited when she emailed me this year to book a photo shoot with her baby. And what a cute baby! Loved loved meeting and working with baby Christopher.

We started at their place and went for a walk in Unionville. That park is absolutely beautiful! Her mom was also there so we had the chance to snap a few romantic photos for Shawn and Wenwen as well. :)

Let me share some of my favorites with you.

I can’t lie – Erika and Chris Engagement Session was my favorite one from this past summer. She had this gorgeous dress, we got amazing light, they weren’t shy at all and everything was pretty much perfect (click here to view it!). I had the hardest time blogging on top of their post and kept their photos on the very top of my website for the longest time. But finally, I have their wedding to share!

Let’s face it – nobody wants rain on their wedding day, especially if you’re planning on getting married outdoors. Forecast was giving us a partly cloudy day, but rain and wind decided to show up once the ceremony was about to begin. Ceremony was held indoors and it was beautiful – happiness was written all over Erika and Chris’ faces once they saw each other.

Rain decided to give us a break for about an hour and we were able to go outside for pictures. We even had the chance of going to the actual location where the ceremony was supposed to be held and got my brand new Facebook cover picture. :)

Reception was filled with kisses – I had never seen a bride and groom kiss so much. Usually I don’t post that much from reception, but I couldn’t help with this one.

Congrats, Erika and Chris! Much love, health and happiness to you both. ♥

I remember when Aileen first called me wanting to book an engagement session. She didn’t have a date for her wedding yet. I remember meeting her and Brandon at a Starbucks and at that time I had no idea that I would love working with them so much.

We had the E-Session and I can recall talking to my husband while I was editing their images. “I really really REALLY want to shoot their wedding. Look at those photos, they are perfect!! Hope I’m not booked when she picks her wedding date!”, and it wasn’t because they were good looking, but it was because they had so much chemistry in front of the camera.

Some months passed and Aileen e-mailed me to book her wedding day. I was literally jumping up and down.

This happened 2 and a half years ago. Since then, I lost count on how many people contacted me because of them. I also have to thank their relatives (especially Brandon’s mom!) for talking about my work! Really can’t thank them enough.

This current photo session was supposed to happen last Fall, to celebrate Aileen and Brandon’s 1st wedding anniversary. Weather wasn’t that great last year – we never really got a decent Fall and we ended up postponing the shoot to Spring. So in the end, we’re really celebrating two years of marriage. :)

We decided to stay around Whitby – starting at Cullen Central Park, then going for some quick photos “downtown” Whitby and ending the shoot by the lake. Light was just perfect! Love love these. Amazing how two years have passed and they are still so good at PDA. Wish I could take pictures of them every single year!

p.s.: you can view their Engagement and wedding photos here and here.
