I did a lot of family shoots last year and I’m slowly uploading them over here. Hopefully I’ll be able to blog them all before wedding season starts!!

Loved working with baby Emma and her parents last Fall. We had our photo session at High Park and the day couldn’t be more gorgeous. I just adored all the sunlight coming in those photos and could not wait to share these with you. :)

Whenever I browse through these photos I can only think “aww ♥”. This is baby Emmett’s photo shoot from last December, which I’m still completely in love with.

I think baby Emmett was around 3 months at his photo session – he was so cute and very easy to work with.

Let me share some of my favorites with you! :)

The question families ask me the most when booking a shoot is “where to go for photos?”. I always send a list of locations that are popular among my clients, however I honestly don’t think it really matters where we go. All we need is a happy family to take photos of!

When Kaelin’s & Cassidy’s mom contact me last year for a family shoot, she wanted to do this at home. This is really the perfect location when working with little kids! It’s where they are comfortable and mom & dad won’t be exhausted from walking with a bunch of stuff. :)

Let me share some of favorites from that Summer morning back in August/2015.

I’m starting to remove last year’s work from my computer and I definitely want to post some 2015 photo shoots here since I most likely won’t blog a photo session once its stored on backup drives. Hopefully this winter I will have some time to post all the shoots from this past Summer/Fall!

I loved working with this sweet little girl and her family! We had this shoot at the Alexander Muir Gardens last September – this place is a lovely garden that, for some reason, is quite underrated among families. Hopefully after posting this shoot, more families will choose to go there. :)

These are some of my favorites.

HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE!

I definitely needed to start 2016 with baby Mae. I’ve been working with Aileen and Brandon since their engagement and it was such an honor to be called again to capture photos of their first baby. Obviously, baby Mae had to be as photogenic as her mommy and daddy. Honestly I’d really love to keep doing this until they grow old. :)

Let me share some of my favorites with you!

This morning after I dropped my daughter at school I was so happy to see a Christmas card on my mail. And it was from these three cuties I photographed this past October.

I’ve been photographing these girls for 4 years now and never had the chance to post them on my blog (even though they are all over my Facebook Page!). I remember finishing this particular shoot and telling myself I needed to post this session this time.

The reality is that half of the families I work with never get a chance to be featured here because I do give priority to posting weddings and engagement sessions. And I’m with so much work this winter that I wasn’t even going to post anything in here until 2016. But then I get this Christmas card in my mail and I just need to stop for a while and blog this. Loved, loved this shoot and it’s really an honor to watch these kids grow.

Let me share some of my favorites with you! :)

And I could not finish this post without posting the Christmas card I’ve received on the mail! LOVED IT! Thank you, guys. :)

I met Daniel exactly a month ago – loved loved meeting this little guy and his adorable parents at the Coronation Park in Oakville. Daniel is full of energy and it was lots of fun running around and watching him so excited about the world around him!

Daniel and his parents were visiting some friends here in Canada and these friends are regular clients of mine. Since they were here celebrating his second birthday, they decided to add a photo shoot to the trip to register such a special day in their lives.

Let me share some of my favorites with you. :)

This is probably my busiest time of year and I have several photo sessions lined up waiting to be edited, however I had to post this photo session I shot over the summer. I’ve been thinking about posting this shoot for a couple of weeks now and I finally found some time while I’m exporting another photo session from Lightroom.

I just loved meeting this family – Tristan is such a sweet and energetic boy! Had a great time with them at the beautiful Cullen Gardens here in Whitby. Let me share some of my favorites with you! :)

It’s been raining a lot this summer – actually, on the day of this photo shoot it was thunder storming in Toronto and I was about to call Lucas & Luiza’s parents to reschedule the photoshoot. To my surprise, they said it was sunny over there and I could not believe how the day was so nice, just 30 minutes away from downtown Toronto!

As always, I loved working with Luiza and meeting her new baby brother, Lucas. It was my first time working at Coronation Park, in Oakville. I loved loved these images and could not wait to share a few of my favorites with you.

As I promised on my last post, I’m finally posting a family photo shoot after having so many couples featured in here.

One of the reasons I’ve been skipping families is that they all want to go to the same location and I feel like you’ve seen enough Edward Gardens around here. LOL

The question that I get the most when booking families is where to go, followed by what to wear. So I always send a what to wear guide with some tips and list of popular locations among families. Even though the list has over 50 locations, I can say that 95% of my families go with Edward Gardens. I can’t blame them, place is beautiful and the kids do enjoy the scenery over there.

Reality is it doesn’t really matter where you go! And this shoot is a great example of that. We were actually going to have the photo session at Edward Gardens but forecast was for rain. Rescheduling was not an option in their case and we decided to have the shoot indoors. Rain was on and off and we were able to go the backyard – and look what we’ve got! I LOVE these photos. In the end, it is really about bonding, playing and having fun – not the location.

Let me share some of my favorites with you. :)
