I can’t lie – Erika and Chris Engagement Session was my favorite one from this past summer. She had this gorgeous dress, we got amazing light, they weren’t shy at all and everything was pretty much perfect (click here to view it!). I had the hardest time blogging on top of their post and kept their photos on the very top of my website for the longest time. But finally, I have their wedding to share!

Let’s face it – nobody wants rain on their wedding day, especially if you’re planning on getting married outdoors. Forecast was giving us a partly cloudy day, but rain and wind decided to show up once the ceremony was about to begin. Ceremony was held indoors and it was beautiful – happiness was written all over Erika and Chris’ faces once they saw each other.

Rain decided to give us a break for about an hour and we were able to go outside for pictures. We even had the chance of going to the actual location where the ceremony was supposed to be held and got my brand new Facebook cover picture. :)

Reception was filled with kisses – I had never seen a bride and groom kiss so much. Usually I don’t post that much from reception, but I couldn’t help with this one.

Congrats, Erika and Chris! Much love, health and happiness to you both. ♥

Ashley and Chris are the dream couple of every photographer. Not because they are (obviously) a good-looking couple, but because they have chemistry in front of the camera.

All I can remember about their wedding day was lots and lots (and lots!) of fog. It didn’t rain (well, not that much), so we were able to get many great photos outdoors – such a beautiful scenery they chose! Of course we all want blue skies on our wedding day, but the photos we got are absolutely stunning and mostly because of how the weather turned out. I love how dreamy some of these images look and wouldn’t want them in any other way.

Congrats, Ashley and Chris! Wishing you an amazing life together! :)

Michelle and Colin are a really cute couple that I had the pleasure of shooting this year. Michelle was the nicest bride ever, so easy to work with! I’m pretty sure she has no idea of how beautiful she is and I just loved working with such a photogenic bride! They also were responsible for giving me one of my favorites E-Sessions of the year.

They got married at the Trafalgar Castle School, a really nice venue here in Whitby. And of course, I don’t get tired of saying how much I enjoy working close to home. :)

Congrats, Michelle and Colin! Wishing you all the happiness in the world. ♥

I can’t believe 2012 is almost over! Time is flying and I’m finally getting back to blogging some of the weddings I’ve been posting on my Facebook Page. Many, many hours spent in front of the computer editing all these pictures while listening to music (and sometimes splitting the screen with Photoshop on one side and Toopy and Binoo on the other side) – weddings, babies, families, head shots, engagement sessions… and I still love all this.

I thought things were supposed to slow down during this time of the year, as they always do, but I’ve never been so busy. Lots of family photo shoots – so thanks everybody for sharing your pictures and talking about me. :)

If you’re here often, you’ll remember these two from a Distillery District E-Session. Rachelle and Levente got married last August at a stunning farm in Marsville.

The forecast was for rain, but it was pretty sunny all day long. We had some really heavy clouds throughout the whole day, so one minute everything was gray and windy and then all of sudden we had the brightest sun on our faces! I’m not kidding – I never changed my ISO and shutter speed so much in a matter of minutes. Tough day to be shooting outside, but I made it and I’m extremely proud of the outcome. We’ve got some amazing images to share – my favorite one is definitely the last one, where Levente’s little nephew is pointing to the stars in the sky as the night falls.

Congrats, Rachelle and Levente! :)

You might recognize Pareesa and Bryan from an e-session I posted not too long ago. They got married last month and I had a great time with them – got so many amazing shots the entire day.

From this wedding, my favorite parts were definitely speeches – after going to so many weddings, I already know that MOST of the best men get their speeches from the Internet. Same old jokes, can’t laugh at that anymore. But this time the best man speech brought tears to my ears. Actually, ALL speeches. I’m just talking about the best man in particular because it’s rare to hear something actually nice and emotional from guys. I loved every single part of the day, but the reception was the spotlight. People were really having fun!! (sometimes dinner is so long it gets a bit boring – I can’t take pictures of people eating!!)

Congrats, Bryan and Pareesa! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness. :)
