Next February will be 12 years since I photographed Aileen’s and Brandon’s engagement session. Time really flies! It is always a pleasure photographing them, and, their engagement session and wedding is still one of my favourites to this day! I also looove our family shoots- I wasn’t able to post a couple of our shoots due to lack of time, but I definitely didn’t want to miss this one as I never posted this location before. I recently found this little forest here in Whitby and fell in love with it. It just looks magical and even more on sunny evenings. Read the rest of this entry »

So excited to share with you all this beautiful maternity photo session I have shot this Spring.

Aileen and Brandon are expecting again and I honestly cannot wait to meet their newest addition to the family. It doesn’t feel like Spring yet and we did this photoshoot as fast as we could so their little girl wouldn’t stay in the cold for so long. Love, love these photos! Read the rest of this entry »

This is my last post of the year. I haven’t post even half of the sessions I wanted – I’ve been too busy! I can’t complain – I’m very lucky to be able to do what I love. I hope 2018 will be as busy as 2017. Read the rest of this entry »

I’ve been taking pictures of Aileen and Brandon for the last 4 years. It’s always such a pleasure working with them. And now, with baby Mae, they make the cutest little family.

I honestly was so very lucky to meet this couple – they are obviously good looking and I’m pretty sure they are aware of it; however, it’s not because of their looks that I like photographing them. Both of them are really great people to be around, easy to work with and they have a lot of chemistry in front the camera!

I’m always saying that I wish I could photograph their milestones forever and this is still a fact.

I’m sharing some favorites photos from this shoot already thinking about the next one. :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE!

I definitely needed to start 2016 with baby Mae. I’ve been working with Aileen and Brandon since their engagement and it was such an honor to be called again to capture photos of their first baby. Obviously, baby Mae had to be as photogenic as her mommy and daddy. Honestly I’d really love to keep doing this until they grow old. :)

Let me share some of my favorites with you!

JK is awesome, seriously! I have to say I’m loving editing photos in normal human working hours. If you missed my last post and have no idea what I’m talking about, well, my daughter just started Junior Kindergarten. :)

In the last 4 years lots of photo shoots didn’t make the blog due to having no time at all, but now I have the feeling I will be able to keep this updated more often (or maybe I’ll just use the extra time to chill LOL).

This is Aileen’s & Brandon’s Maternity Photo Shoot and this couple is really close to my heart because of so many reasons… I used to live in Toronto but then I had Melody and we decided it was best to move to the suburbs. I didn’t know anybody here in Whitby and then I got a call from Aileen – it was really a coincidence that she lived here as well because she actually got to know my work through a videographer friend of mine and he had no idea I moved to Whitby. So Brandon and Aileen were my first local couple! (not my first wedding in the Durham region though – I came here a couple of years before, when I had no idea I’d live here)

Anyways… they are also special because I basically love to work with them. Their looks have nothing to do it (obviously they are good looking people), it’s more about their chemistry. Lastly, I got many, many, many, many referrals from them. So thank you so very much, Aileen and Brandon, for sharing your wedding photos! :)

Enough said, let me share some of favorite photos from this new milestone in their lives.

Congrats, guys! Can’t wait to see your baby! ♥

I remember when Aileen first called me wanting to book an engagement session. She didn’t have a date for her wedding yet. I remember meeting her and Brandon at a Starbucks and at that time I had no idea that I would love working with them so much.

We had the E-Session and I can recall talking to my husband while I was editing their images. “I really really REALLY want to shoot their wedding. Look at those photos, they are perfect!! Hope I’m not booked when she picks her wedding date!”, and it wasn’t because they were good looking, but it was because they had so much chemistry in front of the camera.

Some months passed and Aileen e-mailed me to book her wedding day. I was literally jumping up and down.

This happened 2 and a half years ago. Since then, I lost count on how many people contacted me because of them. I also have to thank their relatives (especially Brandon’s mom!) for talking about my work! Really can’t thank them enough.

This current photo session was supposed to happen last Fall, to celebrate Aileen and Brandon’s 1st wedding anniversary. Weather wasn’t that great last year – we never really got a decent Fall and we ended up postponing the shoot to Spring. So in the end, we’re really celebrating two years of marriage. :)

We decided to stay around Whitby – starting at Cullen Central Park, then going for some quick photos “downtown” Whitby and ending the shoot by the lake. Light was just perfect! Love love these. Amazing how two years have passed and they are still so good at PDA. Wish I could take pictures of them every single year!
