HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! I know I’m a bit late on this – last time I updated this blog was a few days before Christmas. Even though I’m still quite busy during the cold weather, winter is when I get to do some travelling and spend more time with my daughter & husband since it’s quite impossible to have weekends off during summer. I have been working with the cutest families this winter and I definitely couldn’t leave this family out of the blog! I got to meet baby Nash last December and I simply adore these photos. Baby Ellie was just one week old when we did these family photos. It’s not all families that are able to organize the house to have a lifestyle photoshoot like this soon after the baby is born. Everybody was looking great and ready to go – they also had their Christmas tree up, so I thought this would be a great shoot to post this week. :) Gosh, I loved all of their photos – it was so hard to pick which ones to post here. Let me share some of my favorites with you. Congrats, Krista and Angelo on the beautiful family! ❤

I have a few events to shoot this December still – 2016 has been so busy! I wish I was able to post all the incredible weddings and family photoshoots I was part of this year, but I honestly won’t be able to. This family photoshoot is from this past October – the thing I remember about this day was that traffic was hectic! I lost count of how many accidents I drove by and not even Waze was able to find me a route to get to this shoot on time. Anyways… I have to say I LOVED how they were all wearing blue jeans. I usually ask for the family to wear matching and solid colors for indoor shoots and I found the matching jeans the cutest thing. Their photos turned out so great I needed to share some of them with you. :)

I’ve been taking pictures of Aileen and Brandon for the last 4 years. It’s always such a pleasure working with them. And now, with baby Mae, they make the cutest little family. I honestly was so very lucky to meet this couple – they are obviously good looking and I’m pretty sure they are aware of it; however, it’s not because of their looks that I like photographing them. Both of them are really great people to be around, easy to work with and they have a lot of chemistry in front the camera! I’m always saying that I wish I could photograph their milestones forever and this is still a fact. Whenever I browse through these photos I can only think “aww ♥”. This is baby Emmett’s photo shoot from last December, which I’m still completely in love with. I think baby Emmett was around 3 months at his photo session – he was so cute and very easy to work with. Let me share some of my favorites with you! :)

Obviously, baby Mae had to be as photogenic as her mommy and daddy. The title of this post was actually supposed to be “TORONTO Family Portraits”. It was a Monday – left Whitby at 9:30am to get to the Scarborough Bluffs for a family shoot. This was a family I had worked with last year – I got amazing images back in 2013 so I was pretty excited about the shoot this year. But once I left the 401, it was SOOO foggy I knew I’d have to cancel the shoot. While we were talking about rescheduling I mentioned Whitby was not foggy when I left my house. To my surprise, they decided to come to Whitby and have their shoot here. :) Started at Central Park and ended our shoot by the lake. We didn’t get a sunny day, but the photos are stunning anyways! Loved them so much I had to share these with you – even though I have over 5000 wedding images to go through right now.
