| Humber Arboretum is a location I go quite often, but it’s been years since I wrote a post about it, so I thought maybe now it’s time because this is a location I enjoy taking pictures at. This place has a bit of everything so it’s perfect for all occasions! For this photoshoot, we were going to focus mainly on the forest, but in the end we pretty much covered the entire park! haha One advantage of this location is that it’s quite “small”, so we don’t spend much time walking like in some of the bigger parks (like High Park, which I love too despite of the walking).
I know this family for such a long time now. None of us remembered which year I shot their wedding, so I took a look and it’s been 10 years!! I could say it doesn’t feel that long ago, but thinking about it, it does feel that long ago since so much has happened since then. I had one more kid, they had 3 so far, so it does feel like a long ago! :)
What a fun afternoon I had exploring the forest with their kids. I know life gets super busy with kids and all their activities and our jobs, so I’m very grateful that families will take some time off for these photo sessions, especially nowadays where cellphones can take stunning photos, too. So thank you to all the families that keep booking me year after year, thank you for letting me do what I love and thank you for loving my work, too! <3 |
